A quick design
Just a quick design… Went to the Ventura First Friday at Stoneworks Studio tonight and saw art and design work, much of it really well done.
Got a little inspired… Waiting to build up my cache for the Cintiq.

What I’m Working On (other than begging)
This piece is an ink and colored pencil drawing that is 4 x 8 inches on paper. I drew this as a fan art piece and now I want to go back and digitize it to improve on the work. This is the sort of situation I could really use a drawing tablet for my mac.

HELP!!!
Hey Everyone… I am looking at going digital with my art. I would really like to pick up a new tool called a Cintiq. It’s a drawing tablet for computers and the small one is about one thousand dollars. I don’t have that. You don’t have that. So I’m thinking of doing something different…
There are a lot of you out there and I have a painting (just one that is finished). Well, I was thinking of either asking for small donations to my “cause” to help me buy this Cintiq:

to give it to the winner of a raffle at say $20 each ticket if the raffle generates about that amount. The painting is “Corruption”, a 24″x36″ acrylic on canvas board. It is already framed and ready to hang. If the raffle doesn’t seem like a good idea, the painting is for sale… if you are interested, please just make an offer.
Whether you would like to help or not, any other ideas? This is the kind of tool that changes everything for me, and frankly I need to put this out there, I need a digital workspace. The old space is too difficult to manage.

I’ve packed all my painting supplies into the garage, easels and everything. The logistics are just too difficult in a small apartment with 2 other people and the mess and space needs.. I don’t have a studio. This Cintiq makes it all happen for me.

Day 100 – a woman
Day 99 – The Crown Chakra
This is a colored pencil drawing of the symbol for the crown chakra. It is actually in green, but the peacock green is reflecting blue. Odd. The chakra color is supposed to be violet or white.
This is a sorta test drawing for the painting I started last night.

Another piece I’m starting… Based on the spiritual path I’m on… It’s missing an OM over the band of colors and the band of colors will have circles describing the 7 physical chakras.
